Shooting Sports Weekend is an exciting opportunity for Scouts to experience a variety of safe and supervised shooting sports activities. Programs include archery, BB guns, rifles, and shotguns, all conducted under the direction of certified NRA Range Safety Officers and BSA instructors.
Scouts will learn range rules, practice proper safety procedures, and gain hands-on experience in marksmanship. Eye and ear protection is required at all times, and Scouts are expected to follow instructions from range staff.
This permission slip ensures that parents/guardians give consent for participation and acknowledge both the opportunities and safety expectations of the event.
